Banister in the Bayerischer Hof hotelWe produced the almost 200 meter long banister for the ballroom. The curved shapes were made of flat steel (18 x 15 mm) and welded in a stencil. The wooden handrail was milled of mahogany wood and then stained. The big spaces in between had to be covered with a parallel glass panel. The surfaces of the steel banister were treated with steel brushes and with a special rustproofer. |
